Went to the beach!

Skimmin' and Trains

We went to the beach this afternoon for some sunny skim boarding. What a beautiful day at North Beach. There is a series of races going on this weekend, called NOOD so there were plenty of boats out bobbing. When we were down at the beach, there wasn't much wind. We saw a train waiting by Carkeek for a while and shot some skimmin' shots with the train in the backdrop. Even the falcon was out fishing today.....lots of beach action. Here are some shots from today.

Warmer weather

While summer in Seattle is generally short lived.....I still love it. Today's train picture is in honor of our great summer season. That's Max, my hubby, showing off his skimmin' tricks.

First full week

So I have now offically been out of work for a week. It's an odd feeling not looking forward to the weekend because every other day is like a weekend. But one week down anyhow.

Today's train shot was just taken as the sun finally decided to come out from behind the clouds for a least a couple minutes. I'm pretty thankful I was out to get my vitamin D. Plus.....lots of train action.

Lots n' Lots of Trains

Went to the beach today with pups and my hubby. I didn't think we were going to see any train action, but after hanging out for a bit we had trains coming from both directions. Check out this shot of all the engines.

No Train Spottings

Went to the beach today with pups, but didn't see any trains go by today. So here is a picture I took of the Sounder during "the great snow of 2008".

Friendly Train Engineer

Just got back from walking pups at the beach.......lots of train action. Three trains passed within about a 1/2 hour of being down there. This is the best shot of the day. What a nice train engineer to wave at me.

First day of the rest of my life.

So yesterday was my last day at WaMu. And today I'm officially unemployed. Good times. We went to the beach this morning. Here are a couple of my train action shots.
